In providing Intellectual Property legal services, Paul sees enhancing and IP as part of a whole of business strategy. His appreciation of strong business strategy stems from experience, including study at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Deputy Chair role at the Defence Teaming Centre (DTC). His practice in IP litigation, follows over 20 years in legal practice, including general litigation matters, as solicitor and also as barrister and trial lawyer, including hundreds of trials. Having in Intellectual Property matters, since the late 1990s, he can identify and prepare for the potential risks and often takes a holistic approaching – finding ways to meet business objectives without litigation. Paul is a Registered Trade Marks Attorney, and heads up a trade mark filing service for domestic and overseas clients. This connection has given him a rich and broad experience with innovators and cutting edge thinkers.
