Sarah Thomas

Sarah led the design and implementation of the globally-recognised Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge to demonstrate a new way for the South Australian public service to find solutions to the complex problem of climate change. The Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge is a partnership between the State Government and Adelaide City Council which strives to make Adelaide the world’s first carbon-neutral city. Working within the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Sarah led a research, design and discovery phase with stakeholders. The result was a $250,000 prize for best ideas from around the world, attracting more than 150 entries.
